Yesterday when I walked him to school he held my hand. It was sad to think he is soon going to grow out of that. He is growing up and it is a little sad for me.

1st Grade
Connor started first grade this week! Yesterday was his first full day of school. He seemed pretty tired and grumpy when he got home. He says he likes it and he was really excited about his teacher and some of the things she does in their class. Connor told me that she hands out pennies when they are working quietly. Sounds like my child, always wanting to earn money :).

I never liked school when all my kids were that young. I would much rather have them at home with me. Now that I have teenagers, it's much quieter when they're at school. It's not so bad anymore. Now if I could just get out of homework patrol!! :)
Oh don't make me cry...at least I've got a few more years before Renton leaves me :(
